You just need to hear what Midnight crew, Cobhams and BEZ idakulu said about the forthcoming elections and who deserves their vote. It was mind blowing and I did not expect them to stoop so low to this anomalous propaganda. Anyways, I believe they were possessed by a superb and truthful spirit.
First of all, I want to sound a note of warning against any unnecessary assumption that this is not a political (sentimental) post. This post was originally scheduled to publish on the day the election was postponed. This lead to a publish reschedule and it came out to be a blessing in disguise as I was able to get Frank Edwards, Joe Praize and Nikky Laoye to also share their thoughts on a stronger Nigeria.
In recent times, we have seen and experienced the good and the bad in the Nigerian political space ranging from; Insults, bribery, slander, Lies and many more lies to stomach infrastructure, revelations and truths. As I was trying to ensure a non-biased evaluation of the political candidates in order to decide who deserves my vote, I stumbled on this message in 1peter 2:13-15: “Be subject for the Lord`s sake to every human institution, whether it be the emperor as supreme or to governors as sent by him to punish those who do evil and to praise those who do good. For this is the will of God, that by doing good you should put to silence the ignorance of foolish people”. My emphasis is on verse 15 and I am not referring to politicians here, but to you and me. We are at such a time where evil propaganda and black media is the order of the day and this is the time we need to be more opinionated as possible by checking facts and influencing our next door neighbor with the truth you know. We should not let the negative voice overshadow our positive voice, we should ensure that small inner voice of our spirit has dominion over the media information that shapes our political inclinations.
I have heard several people say its only God that knows the right candidate. Yes, our God is Sovereign and He knows all things, but He constantly reveals reveals these things to us. It’s our job to plug our ears, mind and spirit to the right socket in order to know the will of God. The challenge is always that we analyze political information with our minds alone without considering what the spirit is saying. We cannot choose the right candidate by what we see or hear but by the inexplicable truth we must believe.
Enough of my message. I do not want to ramble you with what you know already. Now let us go straight into what Midnite crew, Cohbams Asuquo, Bez, Frank Edwards, Joe Praize and Nikky Laoye said about the elections and who they want to vote for. I have evaluated thoughts and I must say, there propaganda is off the hook and I encourage you to hear what they have to say.
