2014 in all ramification has been a Rap Music revolution year. Many new acts turned to the Rap genre to show there prowess on the. Also with the year ending by hosting of the World Rap and spoken word giants at the Rhyme and Reason Concert. We give you a compilation of our 10 top Rap joints of 2014. Believe, this ones will make you think and you will be inspired with the lyrics. Double blow it is.

This compilation is not ranked in any particular order and the main criteria used are: radio plays, individual access and the essence of the music. The list was restricted to joints with no featured artist. There are definitely more music in this genre that might be probably better than these ones. We just want you to have a feel of what you might have never heard before.

Omari is a one of a kind rapper. He dropped his EP titled rap is deep, poetry is deeper earlier this year and up until this moment, there has been great responses from the album. Check out this jam to see how deep Omari is.

2. No Regrets by Limoblaze
Limoblaze came into the scene not too long and stunned all of us. He delivers his joint smoothly and audibly. He also released his EP this year and its titled Random Notes.

3. Ndewo by Nolly
We have Nolly here again. He is that prolific rapper than raps exclusively in Igbo language. Nolly came into the scene in a special way by delivering a balanced Igbo rhythm on his tunes. He released his EP recently titled Son of the Most High.

4. Walk with me by Provabs
Provabs is one of the heavy weight rappers in Nigeria. He delivers his lines with so much rhyming and lyrical dexterity. This is a remake of Kanye West Jesus walks by Provabs.

5. Ladder by Roof Top MC`s
So-Kleva and Soul-Snatcha both known as Roof Top Mc`s are the pioneers of contemporary gospel rap music in Nigeria. They did a great come back on us with this jam. Ladder has received so much response after its release.

6. Like this by Wallz
Wallz is that kind of rapper that does unusual stuffs and surprises us. You will be thrilled by his language and flow switch on this joint. He releases his EP this year titled Rap for Christ sake.

7. C.R.E.A.M by Samjamz
The Mr President himself releases a tune that you can use to cream your body every morning. Check out the heavy lines on the jam.

8. Its OK by Didi
Didi is one of those motivational rappers. He shows exactly who he his on this joint. Listen and get motivated.

9. Never forget you by IBK spaceshipboi
IBK spaceshipboi is indeed a space rapper. He creates rap from different angles you will never expect. He drops this tune as a tribute to the late Zara Gretti. He releases his album last year titled I come in peace.

10. Ayaya by Protek
Protek is that kind of a flow rapper that ryhmes perfectly well to the beat. He delivers his smooth lines on this joint with Okeysokay doubling as the producer and the hook-liner. This rap song is sure to take you to the dance floor.
